It is the final week of January and time is flying by!
The 100th Day of School will be on Friday, February 6th. We have a lot of fun things planned for that day including making 100 bead necklaces, counting to 100, reading 100 words, reading books about the 100th Day of School and of course showing off our collections of 100 things! Students will be bringing in collections of 100 things. It can be 100 cars racing, maybe a house made of 100 Legos, or 100 pennies put on a piece of paper making the number 100! On year I had a student who made a collection of 100 lollipops sticking out of a foam head and drew on a smiley face. Be creative!
Students were excited to have an artist come into the classroom and show them how to make people dressed up for Winter. You will have to check out all the Winter people in the hallway.
Please contact me if you have any questions and have a great week!
