Mrs. Warne

Just a few words about myself...
Originally from Roseau, MN, I moved when I was five to Greenbush, MN where I attended school K-12.  It was there that I first found my love for teaching when I was in first grade!  After graduating from high school, I attended Bemidji State University and Northland Community and Technical College where I earned my Associates Degree.  Then I met my husband, Stacey, and we were married in 1997.  I was working at the Badger School as the Secretary / Student Records when Stacey was hired as a Social Studies Teacher in Herman, MN.  We lived there for 8 years where I worked a variety of jobs, including a paraprofessional for the Elementary and Preschool. We had our two sons, Noah and Gabriel, while we lived in Herman.  We returned to Badger in 2007, when Stacey got a job at the Badger School as the Dean of Students.   I worked as a paraprofessional for the Badger School in both Preschool and Elementary.  While I worked in both Herman and Badger, I attended college full time on-line from Bemidji State University for Elementary Education and graduated in December of 2008.  I did my student-teaching at GMR-Middle River in the middle school social studies and the first grade classroom, with the teacher that inspired me - my former first grade teacher! We then had our daughter, Ava.  Following that I did a long term subbing position at MCC-Viking in Kindergarten from January - May of 2011.  Then I was hired for my dream job - the first grade teacher at the Badger School!  However, due to medical reasons, I was unable to teach from November 2011 to May of 2012.  Well, I am excited to be back and thrilled to be a part of your child's life!  I hope that you will contact me if you ever need anything!
